I got a personal word from God today, delivered via the pipeline of pastor, cellphone, and wife. "Greater is He that's living in me than he that's living in the world." Yes, I know that's a verse from the Bible (1 John 4:4), but God spoke it just for me today. And I want you to know that I'm not going through anything particularly stressful right now. It is nice to know that God has his loving eye and his loving mind turned my way, even when what I'm dealing with isn't a **big** deal. God cares about the little things too.
I took that word to the bathroom mirror. I confessed it over and over again while looking myself in the eye. My frown flipped around! It didn't matter how seemingly insignificant my struggle was. God is still greater! God is still greater! God is still greater!!
I would speak this word to you my readers too. The Bible tells us we're supposed to share each other's burdens. I believe this word can help you as it helped me. Don't elevate your problem—whatever it is. Elevate God. Elevate His Word. Elevate the promises He's written down just for you. Elevate His Son Jesus who made them all possible! I'm sure you'll see your frown turn around too.
All praise, honor, and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, who was and is and is to come but never changes along the way!
