TGX3: Just Found 2 More

I found two more things to be thankful for in Psalm 28.

It's absolutely awesome that God hears us when we pray! We have a hard time listening to each other sometimes, but God always has time for us. He always hears us. And, according to 2 Corinthians 1:20, we know what the answer will be! Don't have something you need (or even want)? Are you asking? Are you believing? God is listening!

The second thing is this: we can hear God! David even goes so far as to say that if he doesn't hear God's voice, he may as well go down to the pit. Pretty drastic, huh? I wonder how many people out there would reconsider the supposed impossibility of hearing God's voice if the other alternative was to lay down and die. Is it not better to try listening than to flat out ignore the Voice of voices? Holy Spirit has been poured out in infinite measure and He is speaking. Are you listening? What's He saying to you?

I was also delighted to find this verse on this particular day: "And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, offer it of your own free will" (Leviticus 22:29).
