Peyson's Practice

For a little more than a week, my youngest has been trying to roll over. His efforts, until today, have resulted in a slow revolution of his body and legs around his head. It reminds me of both break dancing (in slow-motion) and a sundial.

However, today, he successfully rolled from his back to his tummy, all by himself. And he's one ambitious, determined little boy, for as soon as he rolled, he started pushing against the floor with his legs and growling. Marissa and I think he's already trying to crawl because he hasn't done these things before during parent-assisted tummy time. He's got the will and the strength; if he only had the coordination, he'd be mobile already.

I'm very eager to see what the next few weeks will bring. Stay tuned!
