Big Blue "Cat"

Sorry to disappoint. I'm not writing a Seuss-esque story. Still, it's a catchy title, isn't it?

God blessed Marissa and me with a very timely gift. With Baby2.0 downloading in just a few weeks and our current minivan nearing its twelfth birthday, we were in great need of a new, family-friendly mode of transport. We've been praying for a new minivan with certain features for several months. Today, that claim became.

We are now the proud owners of "Big Blue," a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan, a sparkly gem of modern blue with sliding doors on both sides (a must with our growing family), Swivel-N-Go seats in the second row (with hideaway table for homework and board games someday), and Stow-N-Go seats in the third row. It's more than we could have hoped for and exactly what we need!

We were out celebrating after finishing up paperwork at the dealership. Italian food, family style, at Buca di Beppo. Great food! Great fun! And a diamond mine of photos and statues for Aidan to ogle and point at. There was even a friendly neighbor in the next booth over. Aidan climbed halfway over the little wall and greeted her. She kindly returned the greeting and then rejoined her own companions.

It turns out Aidan was being more than friendly, however. He was fascinated with the woman's poofy haircut. And developing his vocabulary at the same time. I'll let you read the rest of the title to figure out what he called her 'do. Needless to say, everyone at our table had a good laugh over the incident. Thankfully, everyone at the other table was unaware of or unconcerned with what had happened.

It's been a great day!
