Good Timing

I've known for a long time that the best comedians are masters of good timing. Even the best of jokes can be ruined if delivered at the wrong time. After tonight, I think Aidan is going to be a great comedian. Here's why:

Deep into the story of The Muppet Christmas Carol, after Ebenezer Scrooge has had his three encounters with the supernatural, he is proclaiming his new heart to everyone he meets. He runs into two charityeers (men seeking donations on the behalf of someone else), played by Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker, who, earlier in the story, Scrooge had quickly humbugged on hearing their request. He says to them, "In regards to the donation, I would like to give..." and leans over to whisper in the professor’s ear an unknown amount. At that precise moment, Aidan ripped a loud, long, and obnoxious (and noxious) fart.

Marissa and I rolled on the floor, laughing! Dickens' classic as done by the Henson crew will never be the same! Great timing, son!
