Too Cute For Words

Aidan's been real fussy each day from about 7 PM to 11 PM for about a week now. So today, we went to see the doctor to make sure he's OK. She checked his ears, listened to his heart, and then after discussing with us for a few minutes determined it was one of two things: gas or colic. She recommended some medicine to help with gas and told us doctors aren't even sure what causes colic in babies. She suggested a few holding techniques for soothing him when he's fussy and said to give us a call if something else comes up. A very brief visit.

I have my own suspicions as to what is causing his discomfort after a nurse did the required weighing-of-patient. I think what's causing Aidan's discomfort is a growth spurt. He's already at 14 pounds, 8 ounces!!

Regardless of the cause, we both want Aidan to be happy and healthy, so prayers for him would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
